Wayoi.Com - The Last Samurai story is about the last era of Samurai people in Japan. Western culture and expansion has reduce the samurai role in Japan. The Samurai effort to defence their nationality and dependency from west world influence and expansion. I'm not sure the year background but, I think it was about 17 or 18 century.
The story was excellent and feel as true story from a bibliography. Performance all of the actor/actress so excellent in bring their character. With good effect, this movie looks so special, impressive and it was really heroic story. I like movie like that. Love it at all. But, some part of the film was unbelievable, when the last war happen, all samurai were died but somehow Tom Cruise (as Captain Nathan Algren) still alive and be a war hero..

It is very good film.
last samurai was awesome... my favourite scene was the last war when nathan and all of the samurai attack the america soldier's even though the know that it was a suicide attacking them....
