May 21, 2009

Wayoi.Com - A woman patient has been accepted by Hasan Sadikin Hospital in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, recognized by her initials as EK (31), with suspected swine influenza symptoms. EK is the first suspected swine flu patient in Bandung. The suspicion is based upon the information that she recently visited two swine flu-affected states. From the news, at least this is the thirds suspecient case for swine flu or H1N1 in Indonesia where a tourist in Bali also predicted got this influenza.

EK was put under suspect status based upon her recent travels to the United States and South Korea, the two countries that had been infected by the swine flu H1N1 virus. EK was detected by a thermal detector having body temperature reaching 38 degree Celcius in Seoul, South Korea, when she was on a transit from the US. However, after medical examination at the airport she was declared as negative with H1N1 virus. Upon arrival home from Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta airport her temperature rose again and she had problems swallowing food. Her parents then brought her to a local healthcare serve which then afterward analyzing her determined to refer her to Hasan Sadikin Hospital for futher treatment.

Hope swine influenza or mexico influenza of H1N1 dissapear from the earth. So that, the positive patient with swine flu will never happen in Indonesia.
